We are looking for motivated Warehouse Workers to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics processes. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. We value individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to a productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Store materials and products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies, especially those related to safety and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support logistics team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following all established procedures.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent time management and reliability.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics operations.
