Job Summary:
We are hiring Distribution Center Associates in Des Moines, Iowa, to support our extensive logistics network. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming inventory, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
  • Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations.
  • Accurately pick customer orders using scanners and other equipment.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
  • Operate material handling equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all safety standards.
  • Participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
  • Follow all instructions and guidelines related to logistics and warehouse procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn during all tasks.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is advantageous.
  • Physical capability for frequent lifting, with a capacity of up to 50 pounds.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow safety regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes within our logistics operations.
