Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Flight Engineering Senior Manager (Level L) to supportour Flight Sciences Loads and Dynamicsteam based in Everett, Washington.
As a senior manager, you will manage a talented group of engineers and first-level managers, driving excellence in Static and Dynamic Flight Loads, Flutter, Ground Loads, and Aerodynamic Analysis and Testing. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated departmental strategies, overseeing technical approaches, and fostering strong partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers. Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Flight Engineering as a BCA External Loads and Dynamics Senior Manager.
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives for Static Flight Loads, Dynamic Flight Loads, Flutter, Ground Loads, and Aerodynamic Analysis and Testing for Loads.
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
2+ years of experience as a Manager leading engineering teams.
5+ years of experience in an engineering leadership related role.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Master’s degree or higher in Engineering - Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Extensive experience managing engineering teams and first-level managers in flight loads, dynamics, or related aerospace disciplines.
Experience in developing and executing departmental plans, policies, and technical strategies.
Strong expertise in Static Flight Loads, Dynamic Flight Loads, Flutter, Ground Loads, and Aerodynamic Analysis and Testing.
Demonstrated ability to manage partner relationships and lead technical process improvements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience providing technical oversight and approval of engineering products and processes.
Ability to motivate and develop employees to achieve high performance and professional growth.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay range: $182,750 - $247,250
