You will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, picking them with precision, and preparing them for shipment. Your speed, accuracy, and attention to detail are key to our customer satisfaction. We emphasize a safe working environment, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting and moving of products. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as required.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any order discrepancies or issues.
- Participate in team efforts to meet picking and packing quotas.
- Perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Capability to handle moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding and compliance with warehouse safety standards and PPE usage.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
