Our Austin, Texas facility is looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily warehouse operations. This key role requires a leader with a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and team supervision. You will be responsible for coordinating the activities of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow, managing inventory levels, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Key duties include overseeing receiving and shipping processes, managing staff schedules, implementing safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with all company policies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to motivate a team. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and a solid understanding of safe lifting practices. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Oversee the scheduling and assignment of warehouse staff to maximize productivity.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
- Ensure the correct use of PPE and promote a safety-first culture.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on operational procedures, safety, and efficiency.
- Manage the efficient flow of goods within the logistics chain.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to achieve company goals.
