We are seeking an experienced Receiving Clerk for our Indianapolis, Indiana warehouse. This critical role ensures that all incoming materials are accurately received, documented, and prepared for storage or distribution. The Receiving Clerk will work diligently to verify shipment contents against orders, inspect for damages, and maintain meticulous records using our inventory system. A strong understanding of warehouse operations, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to safety are paramount. You will be instrumental in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming freight.
- Verify packing slips and purchase orders against delivered items.
- Document any discrepancies or damages found during receiving.
- Enter receiving data accurately into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
