Our Dallas, Texas facility is looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations. This key role involves managing inventory, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the entire warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of logistics processes. You will be responsible for optimizing warehouse efficiency, maintaining accurate inventory records, and upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. Your contribution will be vital to the success of our supply chain network.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational expenses.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
- Ensure compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse coordination or management. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Demonstrated commitment to safety and experience in implementing safety protocols. Familiarity with material handling equipment and procedures.
