Join our dynamic logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of goods within our state-of-the-art warehouse. In this critical role, you will operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials, ensuring efficient operations and accurate inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) to move pallets, materials, and finished goods.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport items to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, ensuring clear pathways and dock areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and at least 1 year of experience.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
