Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport raw materials, full goods, and packaging supplies to and from designated areas.
- Accurately identify and pick products for shipment.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring aisles and dock areas are clear.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Proven ability to work safely and responsibly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
