Join our team in Houston, Texas as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for a motivated individual to accurately fulfill customer orders in our fast-paced logistics center. This role is vital for ensuring customer satisfaction through precise order selection and efficient packing. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Verify product information and quantities during the picking process.
- Pack selected items securely and safely, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately to packages.
- Assist in receiving and stocking of incoming inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and Safety.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform tasks involving Lifting and moving of boxes and products.
- Operate scanning devices and other warehouse equipment.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily order fulfillment targets within the logistics framework.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick tickets.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
