We are seeking a diligent Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse operations in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of all outgoing orders. Your responsibilities will span the entire shipping process, from verifying order contents and preparing documentation to coordinating with carriers and maintaining meticulous records. This position is crucial for maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational efficiency within our logistics network. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding safety standards. We are looking for a reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and contributes positively to team efforts.Responsibilities include:
- Processing all outbound shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Generating shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation.
- Coordinating with various shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track deliveries.
- Conducting thorough checks of orders to ensure accuracy before shipment.
- Packaging items securely and appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintaining accurate and organized shipping logs and inventory records.
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and external customers regarding shipment updates.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and company policies, including the strict use of PPE .
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock management.
- Resolving any shipping discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally.
- This position may involve some Lifting of packages and requires the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Experience with shipping software and common carrier systems is essential for this role.
- A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all Safety procedures.
- Managing return shipments and processing return authorizations.
- Contributing to the optimization of shipping workflows and logistics efficiency.
