We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our San Francisco, California warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This position is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and completing necessary documentation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Work effectively with other team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies to a supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets and product labels.
- Basic math skills for inventory and order verification.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
