We are looking for a dynamic Fulfillment Associate to join our growing team in Detroit, Michigan. This role is central to our e-commerce logistics operations, focusing on accurately and efficiently processing customer orders. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for picking products from shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and ensuring all orders are ready for dispatch. A strong emphasis on Safety is maintained throughout the facility, requiring all associates to follow established protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position demands physical activity, including regular Lifting of packages and materials. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using scanning devices or pick lists.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Package orders efficiently and securely, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label shipments correctly for timely delivery.
- Replenish inventory in picking locations as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall productivity and smooth functioning of the logistics team.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting broader logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics roles is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for order tracking is a plus.
