We are seeking a dynamic Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Madison, Wisconsin location. This role is central to managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all **logistics** operations. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, inspecting goods, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining inventory records. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to workplace **safety**. This position requires regular **Lifting** and the ability to operate warehouse equipment. Strict adherence to **PPE** guidelines and all **safety** protocols is mandatory. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, verify, and stock incoming materials.
- Inspect shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments accurately.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure the **safety** and security of the shipping and receiving areas.
- Adhere to all **PPE** requirements and company **safety** policies.
- Coordinate with carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Manage warehouse **logistics** documentation.
- Perform **Lifting** and moving of packages and freight up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with warehouse equipment and **logistics** software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of **safety** regulations and **PPE**.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** tasks regularly.
