Seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our San Jose, California facility! This position is critical to the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse and **logistics** operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials. Your adherence to **safety** protocols is paramount, and you will be required to operate equipment responsibly, following all **safety** regulations and using **PPE**. This role involves handling heavy loads, requiring physical capability and a keen sense of awareness. - Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Stack and retrieve materials from storage racks.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift for any defects.
- Follow all **safety** procedures, including the correct use of **PPE**.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Assist with **Lifting** and other warehouse duties as needed, within capabilities.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our **logistics** network.
- Report any **safety** hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Valid Forklift Operator certification and proven experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to perform **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse **safety** best practices and **PPE**. Excellent attention to detail and **logistics** coordination skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be reliable and punctual.
