We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Provo, Utah. As a vital member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will ensure the smooth and organized flow of goods within our facility. This role requires precision, reliability, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move pallets of goods.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment before use, ensuring proper safety checks.
- Stack and stage products in appropriate locations, ensuring stability and organization.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to fulfilling job duties.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
