Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for an exciting opportunity in our San Jose, California facility? We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our expanding logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders accurately and on time. This role requires a high level of focus and efficiency as you navigate the warehouse, select items from inventory, and prepare them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Utilize RF scanning devices to track inventory movement and verify picked items.
- Package picked items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks, with proper training.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as directed.
- Follow all company policies regarding PPE and safe work practices.
- Contribute to team efforts by assisting colleagues and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proven experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks, regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Must be reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
