Job Summary:
Our distribution center in San Antonio, Texas is looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and ensuring efficient organization of warehouse stock. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be key to optimizing our inventory management processes and supporting overall logistics operations. We are seeking an individual committed to precision and maintaining high standards in a dynamic warehouse setting. Safety is paramount in all our operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of all inventory items.
  • Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, and promote a safe work environment.
  • Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed, including tasks involving Lifting.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting, and work in a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics setting.
