We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, loading and unloading trucks, and stocking inventory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve goods.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any defects or maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly documenting all movements.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse operations as needed, including order picking and packing.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is kept clear of obstructions to maintain safety.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting and standing.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
