We are looking for dedicated and hardworking Material Handlers to join our bustling warehouse in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from designated areas, and assisting with inventory management. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary PPE and training to our team members. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are physically fit and thrive in a hands-on role within the logistics sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and possess the physical stamina required for manual labor. Responsibilities include: Loading and unloading materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers. Operating manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, to move materials. Transporting goods to and from various warehouse locations, including storage and production areas. Assisting with inventory management, including stock rotation and placement. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment. Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE. Identifying and reporting any damaged materials or safety hazards. Participating in team efforts to achieve daily operational goals. The ability to perform tasks involving frequent and heavy lifting, with a minimum requirement of lifting up to 50 lbs, is essential.
