We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our busy warehouse facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a strong commitment to safety and productivity. You will work with a variety of products, utilizing scanning equipment and adhering to established procedures to maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or digital pick lists.
- Utilize RF scanners and other technology to track inventory and confirm order accuracy.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order contents against customer specifications and shipping labels.
- Prepare packages for shipment by sealing, weighing, and applying shipping labels.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with RF scanning devices and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- A strong emphasis on safety and adherence to guidelines regarding PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
