Our busy logistics facility in Boston, Massachusetts is looking for a diligent Warehouse Worker to support various warehouse operations. This position is fundamental to the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. You will be involved in a range of tasks designed to keep our inventory organized and ready for distribution, playing a vital role in our supply chain. A strong commitment to safety and teamwork is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory using appropriate systems.
- Assist with order fulfillment by picking and packing items.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to operational improvements.
- Handle tasks requiring lifting and moving of goods throughout the day.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role.
- Ability to perform manual tasks including significant lifting (up to 60 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED required.
