Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator for our Boise, Idaho facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be essential to the smooth functioning of our warehouse logistics, safely maneuvering materials and products throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and ensuring efficient workflow. This role requires a keen eye for Safety, proficiency with various forklift models, and the ability to work productively in a dynamic environment. Your expertise will ensure timely and accurate handling of inventory.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move inventory and materials.
  • Load and unload pallets and other materials from trucks and trailers.
  • Transport products to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
  • Stack and organize inventory accurately according to established procedures.
  • Assist with receiving, shipping, and inventory control tasks.
  • Adhere strictly to all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring clear pathways.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals in our logistics center.

Qualifications:
  • Certified Forklift Operator with at least 2 years of recent experience.
  • Proficiency in operating sit-down, stand-up, and potentially reach forklifts.
  • Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices for forklift operation.
  • Good spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
