In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our distribution center. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, load and unload trucks, and ensure that inventory is organized and accessible. This position is critical to the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely fulfillment of orders. We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals with a strong work ethic. Experience operating forklifts and other machinery is highly desirable. You will play a key role in maintaining the flow of goods and contributing to overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Organize and stack materials in designated locations.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on material handling equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Ensure all materials are handled in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed, contributing to the overall Logistics flow.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts and other heavy machinery.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of heavy items (up to 75 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear and properly use all required PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control principles.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
