We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will operate a forklift to move materials around the facility, load and unload trucks, and support various warehouse operations. Safety and efficiency are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Perform daily inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in safe working order.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
Valid forklift operator certification or license is required. Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform other physical tasks as needed. Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and practices. Must be detail-oriented and able to follow instructions carefully. Reliable and punctual attendance is expected. A dedication to safety, including the proper use of PPE, is essential for this position within our logistics network.
