Job Summary:
Are you a certified Forklift Operator looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Our Boise, Idaho facility is seeking experienced individuals to operate forklifts and perform various material handling tasks within our logistics center. This position is critical for the efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse. Safety, efficiency, and attention to detail are key requirements for this role. Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the warehouse.
  • Assist with receiving and shipping operations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Support overall warehouse operations and logistics team objectives.
  • Participate in regular training to maintain safety and operational proficiency.
Requirements:
  • Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to perform occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication skills.
