We are currently looking for a *Part Time *candidate to work Thursday and Friday only. The Licensed Massage Therapist is responsible for providing safe, therapeutic, and customized massage treatments while delivering an exceptional client experience. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, bodywork techniques, and client care within a medical spa setting, working collaboratively with our aesthetic and medical team.
Responsibilities
* Perform customized massage therapy services including (but not limited to) Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Lymphatic Drainage, and Therapeutic Massage
* Conduct thorough client consultations to assess needs, medical history, and contraindications
* Educate clients on treatment benefits, self-care, and wellness recommendations
* Maintain accurate and timely client treatment notes in accordance with spa and medical guidelines
* Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and stocked according to med spa standards
* Follow all state licensing laws, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations
* Collaborate with estheticians, providers, and front desk staff to ensure seamless client care
* Promote retail products and spa services in a professional manner
* Maintain a calm, professional, and welcoming presence at all times
Qualifications
* Current and active Massage Therapy License in the state of practice
* Minimum of 6 months- 1 year of professional massage therapy experience preferred
* Experience in a med spa or clinical setting is a plus
* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
* Certification or experience in lymphatic drainage, post-op massage, or medical massage
* Familiarity with EMR or spa scheduling software
* Interest in continuing education and advanced modalities
