Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Payroll Specialist, based in Concord, ON. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with legal regulations. Daily tasks will include managing payroll transactions, handling employee garnishments, maintaining payroll records, ensuring proper tax calculations and reporting, and addressing payroll-related inquiries. The role will also provide assistance with payroll-related services, such as benefits and deductions management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing
• Experience in managing Payroll Taxes and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Knowledge of handling Garnishments and accurate Payroll Services
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an asset
• Familiarity with Canadian payroll legislation and best practices preferred

$50,000-$65,000
