Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laundry Attendant located in Timmins, ON. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for operating washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment. Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and garments. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization within the laundry area, inspecting items for damage or stains, and ensuring items are handled and returned to the appropriate areas. Providing excellent customer service and effective communication with team members will be key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laundry and Laundry Services, including the use of washers and dryers
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and address stains or damages
- Capability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment
- Physical stamina for tasks such as lifting, carrying, and prolonged standing
