Landscape Construction Foreman

Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

• High level of professionalism and the ability to represent the brand.

• 5 years of professional landscape or construction experience with a focus on stone masonry is required.

• 2-3 years of experience supervising team members.

• Ability to show working knowledge of tools/landscape construction practices and operation of heavy equipment required.

• Basic irrigation knowledge is a plus.

• Strong written and oral communication skills- bilingual English/Spanish speaking a plus.

• Valid MD drivers license and ability to pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily work planning and quality control of up to four crew members.

• Assist management and construction supervisors to achieve superior quality final products.

• Assist with the installation and care of woody, perennial, and annual plant material.

• Track time and material usage daily to process for invoicing.

• Complete and process paperwork with accuracy.

• Assists in training the team members on all aspects of project work, Barks Road standards of quality, and for skill development.

• Provides on-site project oversight when the Superintendent is not available.

• Operates and maintains small and large machinery, using machinery safely and effectively to keep projects on budget.

• Acts as liaison between team members and Superintendents.

• Proactively establishes and supports a positive commitment to Safety on the job site.

• Assists in establishing a culture of quality and exceptional client care on all projects.
