A company is looking for a Software Engineer (Backend) to develop and scale API services in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities
Develop scalable backend service components using TypeScript, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs ensuring HIPAA compliance Collaborate with frontend engineers and data engineers to enhance user experiences and backend applications
Required Qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline with 5+ years of backend software engineering experience, or 8+ years of relevant industry experience Proven expertise with TypeScript, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and ensuring regulatory compliance Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha Strong understanding of software architecture best practices and backend optimization techniques
