Design and build high-throughput, low-latency backend systems for real-time location processing and geospatial services Take technical ownership of critical subsystems, driving architectural decisions and coordinating across multiple teams Lead the development of geospatial libraries and location algorithms, establishing best practices for location data processing
Required Qualifications
8+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend systems and distributed systems Expert-level knowledge in distributed systems, including consistency models and fault tolerance Hands-on experience with geospatial algorithms and high-throughput data processing Proficiency in Java and Go, with experience building production services in both languages Deep experience with Kafka and NATS for event streaming and real-time data pipelines
