Join Our Team as a Senior/Supervising Social Worker!

Salary: Up to £39,142.63 per annum (dependent on experience), with potential to rise to £41,948 based on length of service.

Location: Home-based, supporting Foster Parents across the West Midlands and surrounding areas.

What We Are Looking For

We are excited to welcome a Senior/Supervising Social Worker to our friendly and dynamic team. In this role, you will:

  • Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise a diverse range of foster carers, ensuring high-quality placements for looked-after children.

About You
  • You are an enthusiastic and committed self-starter, capable of working independently while maintaining strong connections with team members and carers.
  • Excellent assessment skills and strong communication abilities (both written and verbal) are essential, along with good IT skills for high-quality report writing.
  • A qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration, recent experience in fostering and services for children is desirable, though less experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
  • You possess a solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
  • We seek innovative applicants who share our creative vision, whether you're new to fostering or an experienced supervising social worker.
Working Conditions and Benefits

This is a full-time, permanent position that is home-based, offering a competitive starting salary of up to £39,142.63 (dependent on experience), plus a car allowance or company car. Enjoy a generous holiday allowance starting at 30 days, increasing to 35 with service, along with bank holidays, bike-to-work schemes, and contributory pension options.
