Position: Level 2 Nursery Practitioner

Hours: 30 hours per week (Tuesday-Thursday, All year round)

Salary: £20,186.40

Welcome to Cherrystone Nursery , a nurturing day nursery and preschool located in the heart of Stoneleigh, Surrey. We cater to children aged 3 months to 5 years and have recently transformed our outdoor spaces to inspire exploration and play. With a brand new climbing frame, growing patch, and creative art area, our nursery is designed to spark curiosity and support every stage of development.

We are on the lookout for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. This full-time role involves working 30 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. Please note that this is a year-round position, as we operate throughout the year.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Ensure each child’s individual needs are met, providing high-quality care and education in a safe environment.
• Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities tailored to each child's learning and development.
• Collaborate with your team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
• Follow risk assessments diligently and report any health and safety concerns to management.
• Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification: Essential
• Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
• Experience in Early Years: Over 1 year is desirable
• Knowledge of EYFS Framework: Familiarity with statutory requirements is desirable
