Job Description This is an exciting opportunity for a Computer Hardware Technician who specializes in hardware repairs and installations for laptop and desktop computers. To excel in this role, prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware is essential. As part of your onboarding experience, you will receive free certification in Dell and Lenovo products. Job Details This position is a 1099 Contract role with variable call volumes, typically between 2-5 calls per day. Compensation starts at $35 per completed ticket. You will be responsible for performing hardware part replacements under Dell and Lenovo warranty services. Payments are disbursed every Friday, following the completion of your tickets. A reliable form of transportation is required for on-site service calls. You must have access to a computer and the internet for logging into your service portal. Work hours are Monday through Friday, and you need to log into your tech portal by 9 am each workday to accept and schedule calls effectively. Contact with customers to confirm service windows is a key responsibility. Parts will be supplied by the manufacturers, typically available for pick-up at FedEx each morning. You will also receive shipping labels and materials for returning removed parts.
