Become a Material Handler on our dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas, and play an essential role in our logistics center. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. Your duties will include operating various types of material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to load, unload, and transport goods. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a secure and organized work environment, requiring strict adherence to all safety guidelines and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We are looking for reliable individuals with the physical stamina to perform tasks involving consistent lifting and maneuvering of materials. Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment proficiently and safely.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from production or storage areas.
- Stack and arrange inventory according to established procedures.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear PPE.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience operating material handling equipment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 60 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Must wear and maintain PPE.
