We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Orlando, Florida! This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and the highest standards of safety. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, coordinate workflows, optimize storage, and implement best practices in logistics and inventory management. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain operational excellence. A strong understanding of safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and the ability to enforce these standards across the team, is critical. This role may involve some lifting, up to 50 pounds, and requires a strategic approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates on job duties, safety procedures, and logistics best practices.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
- Manage inventory control and ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Optimize space utilization and warehouse layout.
- Handle any operational issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, OSHA requirements, and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to perform moderate physical work, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
