Our bustling Boston, Massachusetts facility is looking for a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. This pivotal role ensures that our supply chain runs efficiently, from the moment products arrive to when they are dispatched to customers. You will be responsible for verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and preparing outgoing orders for delivery. Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are essential. This position requires an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and understands the importance of timely and accurate processing of all shipments. You'll be a key player in our Logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. We emphasize a culture of safety, and all team members are expected to follow strict safety guidelines. Proper use of PPE is mandatory for all warehouse personnel. - Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Accurately document and record all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with precision.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely (certification may be required).
- Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure all outbound shipments are properly labeled and ready for carrier pickup.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE at all times.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse.
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving roles.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
- Must wear required PPE .
