Seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our facility in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse using a forklift. Your expertise is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods and supporting our overall logistics operations. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all operators must strictly adhere to company safety policies and utilize the required PPE at all times. This position requires experience with various types of forklifts and a valid certification. While operating a forklift is the primary duty, there may be instances where you will need to assist with other warehouse tasks, including some manual handling and lifting of up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily for safety and maintenance needs.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
