Seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our St. Louis, Missouri distribution center. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your primary focus will be on navigating the warehouse to retrieve specified items for outgoing shipments. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. We foster a strong culture of safety , where all team members are expected to follow strict guidelines and wear appropriate PPE . The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is essential. This is a physically demanding role, involving significant walking and lifting of items, often weighing up to 40 pounds. Understanding warehouse operations and logistics is a plus, though comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage orders for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
