We are hiring a Material Handler for our Dallas, Texas warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of materials throughout our logistics operations. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, storing, and tracking materials within the warehouse. This includes receiving incoming materials, stocking them in appropriate locations, and retrieving them for order fulfillment or production needs. You will operate various types of equipment to move materials efficiently and safely. A strong focus on Safety, accuracy, and adherence to warehouse protocols is vital. This position offers a dynamic work environment and the chance to be a key player in our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Accurately record material movements and inventory locations in the WMS.
- Pick materials for production orders or customer shipments.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials to maximize space and prevent damage.
- Conduct regular checks on inventory levels and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with shipping preparation as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar role is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to Safety and following procedures meticulously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
