Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels at our Charlotte, North Carolina facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, from receiving to shipping, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our stock. Your work directly impacts the efficiency of our logistics operations and customer satisfaction. You will implement and refine inventory control procedures, conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and identify areas for improvement. A strong understanding of warehouse processes and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. This position demands a keen eye for detail and a dedication to maintaining optimal inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Manage the flow of inventory from receiving to put-away and from picking to shipping.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., receiving, picking, shipping) to ensure seamless inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and stock levels in the WMS.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage strategies for efficient inventory management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and WMS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Safety and adherence to warehouse protocols.
  • Experience with RF scanners and other inventory control tools.
