In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders. This involves picking items from shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order slips.
- Pack items carefully and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Ensure all orders are accurately labeled and processed for shipment.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure correct items and quantities are shipped.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, practicing good housekeeping.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or retail environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Must be able to handle physical demands, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Basic knowledge of Logistics operations is beneficial.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
