We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the integrity of our stock. Your meticulous work will directly support our warehouse and Logistics operations, enabling us to fulfill orders efficiently and manage our stock effectively. You will utilize inventory management systems, investigate discrepancies, and implement procedures to minimize stock variances. A strong focus on accuracy, organization, and workplace Safety is essential. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Track the movement of inventory within the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Assist with the put-away and retrieval of stock.
- Monitor stock levels and report on potential shortages or overages.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE .
- Generate inventory reports as needed.
- Support overall Logistics and operational efficiency through accurate inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate physical activity, including occasional Lifting .
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE .
- Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
