Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order sheets or scanner data to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment, using appropriate materials and methods.
- Stage completed orders in the designated shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a particular focus on safety and logistics best practices.
- Wear and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is a strong asset.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for prolonged periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and proper lifting techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics concepts is helpful.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations, including strict PPE usage.
