We are hiring a dedicated Picker/Packer for our Omaha, Nebraska facility! This role is fundamental to our customer service, ensuring orders are accurately picked and securely packed for shipment. You will work within our warehouse environment, selecting items from shelves, preparing them for dispatch, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer order lists or electronic devices.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or discrepancies.
- Pack items efficiently and securely, using appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation to outgoing packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, strictly following all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed.
- Operate manual pallet jacks or other basic warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role within a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift items up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work at a steady pace.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and inventory principles.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE is essential.
