Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and manifests.
- Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments against orders and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling of all outgoing goods to prevent damage and loss.
- Maintain organized shipping records and files for easy retrieval.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining an orderly and safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar administrative/warehouse role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 30 lbs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is an advantage.
- Commitment to workplace safety and understanding of PPE requirements.
