We are hiring a Warehouse Worker to join our facility in Sacramento, California. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, involving a range of essential warehouse tasks. You will contribute to the efficient handling and storage of goods, ensuring that our logistics chain operates smoothly. The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities will include receiving and dispatching shipments, organizing stock, and general upkeep of the warehouse. - Receiving incoming goods and verifying against shipping documents.
- Storing inventory in appropriate locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Picking and preparing orders for shipment.
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping and tidying work areas.
- Assisting with physical inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Following all established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, or potential hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Performing other related duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or manual labor role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting and moving of items.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively with others.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies regarding PPE.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
