We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator in Omaha, Nebraska, to support our critical logistics functions. In this role, you will operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials around our warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe handling of goods. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory to and from storage locations, and assisting with order picking and staging. A fundamental part of this position is maintaining a safe working environment through strict adherence to all safety procedures and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We are seeking experienced, safety-conscious individuals who can operate equipment proficiently and manage their tasks effectively. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and related equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and willingness to wear PPE.
