Join our state-of-the-art Distribution Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as a Distribution Center Associate. This multifaceted role involves a range of warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment. You will be an essential part of our logistics chain, ensuring that products move efficiently and accurately through our facility. A strong commitment to Safety and operational excellence is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming merchandise.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Assist with Shipping & Receiving as needed.
- Perform general warehouse duties to support overall operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to regulations.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as required.
